About

Brittney-Nichole Connor-Savarda, author of The EQ Deficiency, is the region’s foremost authority on emotional intelligence and awareness and lives her purpose as a catalyst for change. Brittney-Nichole earned degrees in education and psychology, a certification as a Neuro-Linguistic Program (NLP) practitioner and is a HeartMath trainer. As a credentialed and respected “People Whisperer,” Brittney-Nichole specializes in working one-on-one with high-achieving individuals and entrepreneurs to help them discover a life of fulfillment, balance, and confidence that success and things alone can not satisfy. In addition, she partners with executives and their teams to solve the people problems that are holding them back from innovation and people-centered success.

As a child, Brittney had a front row seat to the direct and negative results caused by a lack of awareness and thoughtful communication. She realized later in life how emotional intelligence works in concert with our higher self to create a life of fulfillment, purpose, connection, and success. "At the age of 15, I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and later OCD and ADD, which came as no surprise. My family has a long history of anxiety, depression, and mental illness. Unfortunately, I quickly fell victim to the mentality that my mental health, well-being, and success was out of my control. I used my anxiety and ADD as the reason for why I struggled in school and failed to make friends; and, I used my anxiety and OCD as an excuse for my frequent emotional outburst and meltdowns. It was only after discovering and apply the skill of emotional intelligence that my life completely changed. I learned how to understand and control my emotions, and I developed compassion for myself, which snowballed into my current success and fulfillment in life and business. It brings me immense joy to have made it my life's work to share this undervalued, yet essential, skill with the world." The cornerstone of Brittney-Nichole’s approach stems from her desire to teach others that they too can how to take back control of their lives by embodying emotional intelligence as a foundational practice in life, family, and business. Through her two businesses, Brittney-Nichole teaches others how to become aware of the needs behind their strong emotions, get curious and comfortable with all emotions (pleasant or unpleasant), and how to manage triggers and reframe conflict. Through her practice, Brittney-Nichole applies equal parts experience, education, and compassion to change individual's lives and business for generations to come. Her breadth of understanding on the subject, dedication to solving the root cause, and not simply the symptoms, and her holistic approach in treating mind, body, and spirit are what set her apart from a seemingly endless pool of “life coaches” and emotional intelligence facilitators.

  • Connor-Savarda is a true champion for people who genuinely desire to become a better version of themselves.

  • Whether it’s applying what she’s lived and learned in a one-on-one coaching session, to a packed webinar audience or sharing emotional intelligence, awareness, and communication practices with a group of engaged corporate leaders, the cornerstone of Brittney’s work is simple: she solves people problems.

  • Brittney-Nichole’s training and experience in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and HeartMath not only gives her a professional edge, it speaks volumes about her dedication to helping people. She understands the crucial role the ego plays in how we perceive reality, talk to ourselves and how it influences our interaction and communication with others.

Brittney-Nichole’s devotion to making lives better through a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence and awareness is a gift – one she believes is only valuable when it's shared with others. She demonstrates her passion for solving people problems through speaking on stage at events, partnering with organizations, and working one-on-one with individuals, families and leaders.

Who Are You When Everything Changes? Emotional Identity in an Era of Constant Reinvention
The self was never meant to be a fixed destination — but it was also never meant to be rebuilt this continuously, this fast, under this much pressure. Learning to stay grounded while everything shifts may be the defining inner work of our time. There is a question that more people are sitting with in 2026 than are willing to say out loud: Who am I now? Not in the existential, philosophical sense — though that too — but in the immediate, practical one. The career that once defined you has been...

Healing in Public: Why Community Wellness Is the Next Frontier of Holistic Health
For the past decade, the wellness conversation has been intensely personal. Meditation apps, breathwork retreats, somatic therapy, cold exposure — the landscape of holistic practice has exploded with tools for the individual seeker. And these tools work. But something is missing from this picture: the profound, evidence-backed understanding that human beings do not heal in isolation. We heal in relationship. Community-based mental health initiatives are gaining traction precisely because...

What the World Taught Me About Mindset
There's a particular kind of clarity that comes from leaving home. Not the tourist kind of travel — shuffling between hotels and Instagram backdrops — but the kind where you sit in a community that has almost nothing by Western standards and watch how people actually live. I've spent time in countries most Americans would label "third world." I've seen families of six share a single room with walls made of corrugated metal and salvaged wood. I've watched mothers cook over open fires, kids...
