Anna is a certified EQ-i 2.0 Emotional Intelligence Facilitator and Well-being Navigator whose work focuses on the intersection of emotional intelligence, mindfulness & well-being. Anna holds an M.S in Psychology with over twelve years of experience facilitating change. A former kindergarten teacher, middle school principal, and change leader with a demonstrated history of working in the education field in North America, South America, Asia, and Europe. Anna spent eight years traveling the world to gain a deeper understanding of people across various cultures and expand her worldview.

Anna first became passionate about emotional intelligence over twenty years ago when she read Daniel Goleman’s book on Emotional Intelligence. This book was the catalyst for change in Anna’s life and quickly became a topic of passion. Many nights at the bookstore, immersing herself in the latest book on emotional intelligence, led her to pursue her Master’s in Psychology.

Over the past three years, Anna has engaged in deep vertical work through developing her skill set in facilitating emotional intelligence, understanding trauma-sensitive mindfulness, and teaching practical strategies to help individuals self-regulate, so they are resourced to co-regulate. Anna strongly believes that we must do our own work if we want to impact others.

Today, Anna helps to promote emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and bring mindfulness moments into people’s busy lives through training, workshop facilitation, consulting, and writing. Anna’s mission is to combine insights from psychology and neuroscience into practical strategies that support overall well-being.

In her free time, Anna loves to spend time in nature, hiking, walking, or simply taking care of her flower garden, and practicing yoga. Anna recently took up the hobby of creating Kintsugi Pottery, an old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery and transforming it into something more beautiful than its original state. This reminds Anna of the resiliency that each one of us has in us and the power of transformation.
