Lisa is a long-time professional communicator, John Maxwell certified coach, trainer and speaker, and the founder of Connext Communications, offering one-on-one and team coaching and training to help people figure out what they want to say and say it, with poise and confidence. A recovering people-pleaser, Lisa walked the path from self-doubter to confident communicator and leader herself and knows that taking conversations from transactional to transformational starts with the quality of the conversations we have with ourselves.

Lisa lives in Charlotte with her husband Bryan. Together, they have five grown children, all of whom can tell when she has slipped into "coach mode." In her free time, Lisa loves to read, entertain friends, try new recipes, hike, travel and find new ways to attract more bluebirds into her backyard.
