Hope Phillips Umansky, PhD, (aka Dr. Hope) has a diverse professional and educational background in higher education as an American culture expert and also holds a PhD in clinical psychology. She actively works as a professor, psycho-educational & global strategic consultant, keynote speaker, and author. Dr. Hope’s true love helping people express themselves and humanistic-based truths authentically to facilitate a kinder, more equitable worldview. Her formal education is a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Scripps College of The Claremont Colleges, a Master’s in Liberal Arts in English literature from Reed College, specifically in American culture, and a MA/PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis in resilience and overcoming trauma from a small private graduate institute. As a media expert, Dr. Hope is excited to continue to explore humanity in our #pandemica™ world through innovative and progressive discourse about American culture and how it shapes our identities and lives, personally, within society, and globally.
